How Your Online Interior Design Services Are Killing Your Sales
Meet Matilda. She's a cute little spitfire of an interior designer who is ready to take the world by storm. Fresh as a daisy and out of school, Matilda knows that having a brilliant looking website that makes all the clients come around is the biggest and smartest investment she's made yet to get clients. Matilda did have this freebie website, before. And she thought for sure it was the reason why no one was contacting her. She hired a designer and got herself a brand spanking new logo and website design and thought for sure that was going to make all the difference.
She was wrong.
It really wasn't the website that was the problem. Yes, her new website and logo looked pretty fly for a white guy, but Matilda was making this huge mistake that kept people from working with her.
The Huge Mistake You (and Matilda) Making With Your Online Interior Design Services
One her services page she had all 19 of her online interior design packages out there on display.
What's wrong with that?
Matilda was confusing her clients. When a potential client comes to Matilda's interior design website a lot of times they aren't exactly sure what they want. Matilda needs to help them along with the purchasing phase. After all, she isn't personally walking her clients through the web site each time someone visits, so her website needs to do the heavy lifting. How do you do that?
Here's How:
Narrow your interior design services packages to three on your "Work With Me" page. You should have three interior design packages that your client can choose from.
You need to create a base level package, a mid-level package, and a high-end package. The idea is that your clients will usually pick the package in the middle service package. If you give them 19 choices, you confuse your client and lose the sale.

You and I both know you're awesome
You can offer all sorts of design services, but your client needs you to help them make a choice and when you put yourself in their shoes how would you be able to choose from the 19 different packages?
