Who's Afraid To Start An Interior Decorating Business?

You're a hard working interior designer who wants to start an interior decorating business that makes money. Except all you have right now are a pocket full of dreams and you need to know the shortest line between where you are now and where you want to be.

Let me share a little love letter I wrote you.

Dear You,

How are you? You feel like you're ready to give it all you got and start an interior decorating business. But there's that little voice nagging you. I know, you're full of fear. You aren't sure if you're making the right choices here.

It feels like you are making a bunch of decisions without a clear plan. And you feel like you are operating with a tinge of fear. So...

Who's afraid to start an interior decorating business?

Maybe you, but why? Fear of failure? Well, you simply have to get over that right now. You can't let your fear dictate your decisions because what you decide now becomes your destiny.

While your destiny can change, operating out of fear isn't the best idea, right? So, let's shake off the fear right now, love. You are more than enough and you will nail this.

What do you want to do?

You want to change the world and make money. Oh, doesn't changing the world sound a little pretentious? It does, but that is why you're here. You are here to serve others and by serving others you make a difference and people will gladly pay you to have them help you change their world. Really. Now that we have that sorted out, we've got you flinging off the fear cape and standing tall ready to change the world. What's next?

How the eff do I do this?

Ah, yes, we have gotten to the all important part of figuring out all those things we should be doing to make a fearless difference in the world. First, it isn't as hard as you think, the logistic side of it. I promise you that you can learn this, but I will say after you know how, there are two things you need to look out for. It will be a lot of hard work because once you learn everything that you need to you have to do it. And yes, sometimes you won't want to and be tempted to hiring someone else to do it for you.

Then there will be the times that you can't wait to do it because no one is better than you on your best days.

The other thing you need to look out for is getting complacent, and it will happen, but look at that as a friendly reminded from the universe that you are ready to go to the next level, and maybe that's the time you hire a coach to guide your successful business to the next step.

What's the next step?

You take the first step by figuring it all out and pulling in all the tools you will need to start an interior decorating business. Google will become your best friend for a while. And you're your own worst enemy because you may end up getting so many tips and steps that you're back to square one. The cul-de-sac of immobility. I don't want you to end up there. I hear the neighbors are Negative Nelly and You Suck Sally.
