STOCK PHOTOS + GRAPHICS
If you think you can just use any old image you find online, you’re wrong. And you can be sued. Totally not fun. The long and short of it is
If you own the image or took the image, you can use the image.
If you don’t own the image or didn’t take it, you need to get permission from the person that owns the rights to that photo. If you do not get permission from the owner of the photo in question be prepared to get a nasty letter from a the photographer or a scary lawyer.
