Is blogging really important for your interior design business?

This question about if blogging is really important for your interior design business has come up recently in the Society and I decided to make a video about it after an 8 month or so hiatus. #slacker

Whether you know it or not, we’re in a weird in-between time when it comes to social media… Facebook and Instagram are all sorts of fucked up as they continue to change the way they do business. Which could affect your business if you’re putting all of your eggs in their basket. Which you should never ever do.

Here’s the really important thing to remember before you watch this video… we are living in a weird time. Censorship on other platforms, including Google, is a real thing to be aware of. Especially if your niche is Holistic interior design because it can be deemed woo-woo without any scientific authority to validate it.

Knowing that censorship can come from anyone, even from Google, so you may have to adapt in the future… but for now, your number one source for getting visibility, at this moment in time, is to make sure that your website is the number one place that you’re bringing traffic to.

Which then you should make sure that your website is converting that traffic into subscribers on to your email list so in case you get put in Facebook jail (or whatever jail) that you can still reach out to your community.

Now, onto the video… and if you love it, go give me a like on Youtube, okay? I’ll love you forever or not, your choice 😉
